Bachhawat Residency was a passion project where the client sought to preserve the charm of traditional Indian interiors while making the space relevant for contemporary urban living. The focus was on creating distinct character in each room without losing coherence in the overall design.
Our design direction was driven by layered detailing, rich textures, and handcrafted elements. We worked extensively on material selection — bringing together teakwood finishes, antique brass accents, jute textures, and warm lighting. Artifacts, heritage-inspired furniture, and curated décor were used to build authenticity. Special care was taken to blend structural practicality with design depth.
Detailed wood paneling, traditional seating arrangements, and warm lighting set the tone for hospitality.
A mix of upholstered headboards, ambient lamps, and earthy tones for elegance and restfulness.
Designed to serve as a family gathering zone, featuring carved furniture and soft indirect lighting.
Integrated as quiet spaces using natural materials and layered décor.
The final design is a tapestry of tradition and thoughtful contemporary edits. Bachhawat Residency feels rich, rooted, and comfortably luxurious — a lived-in home where every space has personality and purpose, without sacrificing everyday usability.
